Hello everyone, just noticed under my tailgate around the Camera Housing are two spots of rust developing, Not the best of photo due to sunlight. Car is 2016 due Service in July so it will be mentioned!

I recall Mazda issued a TSB (technical service bulletin) regarding this - i had the same on my first CX3 and it was repaired under the paint warranty.

Dealer Repair Guidance document R100/16A 'Rust on Liftgate around Rear Mount Camera /Liftgate Opener Switch' covers this exact problem. Resolution is to repaint the area and then apply a protective film part.
