Afternoon, hope your all well.
I have a couple of issues with my 2016 CX3
1. Near side mirror no longer folds but the motor runs constantly? ( you can still adjust the glass)
2. Knocking at low speed also when turning the steering wheel whilst stationary.
Only done 26000 miles and past it’s MOT in October.

If anyone con help I would be very grateful.
Thanks

Faults with the powered folding mechanism on the door mirrors on Mazda's are quite common. Ask a Mazda dealer to check it over & submit a goodwill claim to Mazda UK if not damaged by accident. They *may* offer to repair/replace despite being out of warranty, although goodwill usually only extends to five years after registration and if it has a full franchised dealer service history. If not it will require the door mirror assembly to be stripped down and probably a plastic cog replaced, or replacement of the complete mirror.

Knocking could be a problem with one of a few different front suspension components or the steering rack. A number of the rapid fit tyre replacement establishments carry out free suspension checks on request.
