had my new cx3 for 4 weeks. just been cleaning it out and not having even been in the back before I noticed that at the bottom of the back seats (where it meets the upright) on both sides of both seats, there is no stitching and can place 4 fingers in these gaps. might sound a silly question but are these gaps there for a reason or should they be stitched!

I think they were open on mine but perhaps one of the others can confirm. I think it's just how the build the seats up.

I see you do have a CX-3 so ignore my other question.

I think the gap is there so the isofix for child seats can be accessed
